Michael

Of all the characters my imagination has conjured up thus far, Michael's character in Summer Moments has been the most fun bringing to life.

Readers will soon fall in love with his charming yet sometimes hilarious personality!

Here's an excerpt from Summer Moments that shows Michael's playful, fun loving side☺️

" The day had seemed to drag for Alex as she happily anticipated the evening ahead. She had tried busying herself with chores around the house and very slowly, the time came around for her date with Michael.
She began dressing, having chosen a pair of Levi’s and a black sleeveless shirt with neon coloured patches of pink, yellow and green and white tennis shoes. She had no idea where Michael was taking her, but she thought it best to dress for the sake of comfort and not style.
She combed her long hair into a single braid and just as she was applying some apricot lip gloss to her lips, she heard a knock at the front door.
When she got downstairs and opened the door, there was Michael standing on the porch, dressed in Levi’s too and a white V-neck T-shirt. He had a bunch of flowers in his hand, fresh dirt dropping from the rooted stems and a broad grin on his face.
Alex  looked at the flowers, recognizing them instantly. Zinnias! Her eyes immediately went over to the flower bed at the front of the yard.
“Um Michael? Are those my Zinnias?” she asked him. He looked at the flowers in his hand as he shook the rest of the dirt off the stems.
“I was walking up the driveway and noticed the flowers planted in front when suddenly, it hit me: this was our first date and I should be bringing you flowers.
So I dug up a few and,” he held them out to Alex, “here you are!”
“I see,” Alex said, taking the flowers from him. “Well Michael, why don’t you have a seat inside whilst I go replant my flowers.”
“Sure thing, hon,” he smiled and walked passed her through the doorway.
  “Idiot,” she muttered.
“I heard that!” he called out, laughing.
“Crazy idiot,” she muttered again, but there was a smile on her lips, a joy in her heart and inside, her emotions were singing. She just knew she loved him more.
